About Chef

Chef Shahzad’s inspiration to cook came from his grandmother. Started with humble beginnings in the hospitality industry in the operations and HR departments, he took a plunge into cooking Only later. He participated in Masterchef India (Season 2) where he was awarded the title ‘Dessert King of India’ by the esteemed judges. He launched his patisserie, The Mystery Box, in 2014 – which was a dream come true for him. From being a self-taught chef to a celebrity chef, Shahzad has had a wonderful journey and loved every minute of it.
