Cooked lentils finished off with a simple seasoning of spices and paired with rice for a Maharashtrian favourite combination; best relished with a drizzle of ghee, served separately. This platter also includes a delicious snack wherein colocasia leaves are smeared with a batter of gram flour and powdered spices, steamed and seasoned with masalas; accompanied by buttermilk.
