A light and healthy meal wherein rice and pigeon pea (tur dal) are cooked with spinach leaves, onions, tomatoes, ginger juliennes and finished off with a seasoning of ghee, curry leaves and mustard seeds; to be relished with a delicious yogurt based sauce thickened with gram flour, seasoned with spices; accompanied by papad on the side.
