<p>A much-loved delicacy from Karnataka wherein rice and lentils are cooked together with brinjal chunks, beans, carrot chunks, potatoes and tomatoes with bisibele bhaat and sambhar powder, finished off with a dollop of ghee and a garnish of coriander leaves; to be relished with deep fried chillies simmered in a thick gravy of groundnuts, white sesame seeds, dry coconut, tamarind and jaggery.</p>
