Bisi Bele Bath with Capsicum Salan and Aachar
A much-loved delicacy from Karnataka wherein rice and lentils are cooked together with brinjal chunks, beans, carrot chunks, potatoes and tomatoes, seasoned with bisibele bath and sambhar powder, finished off with a dollop of ghee and a garnish of coriander leaves; to be relished with a salan of capsicum slices simmered in a curry with tamarind and spices; served with pickle on the side.
