What inspired you to become a chef? Tell us your story!
The craftsmanship that goes into cooking when a chef is at work, is my biggest inspiration to pursue this career.
Which celebrity chefs do you admire the most?
Chef Vikas Khanna, Chef Prakash Pawaskar from the Oberoi Group of Hotels and Chef Peter Drescher, ex executive chef from the Oberoi Group of Hotels are my inspiration.
What do you do in your free time?
I generally indulge in watching food shows and National Geographic Channel when not cooking.
Do you like to travel? What are your favorite travel destinations?
Which dishes do you love to cook and why?
I love cooking Italian food and Pollo Casa Bianco in particular. Cooking is all about inventing new dishes and that is something I enjoy doing.
A cooking tip that you always follow.
Always use fresh food.
What's your favorite kitchen tool?
If you weren't a chef, or in the food business, what would you be?
I would probably be a lawyer.
When it comes to food and cooking, what is your greatest achievement to date?
Working at a prestigious organisation like the Oberoi Group of Hotels for 6 years and in Jordan at Flocka Seafood have been some of my milestones.
What is that one ingredient you cannot cook without?
Salt and cheese.
Someone famous you would like to cook for?
I have served superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in the past, and I would love to cook a special meal for Narendra Modi.
What would one expect to find in your refrigerator?
Which quality should a person definitely possess in order to become a professional chef?
