What inspired you to become a chef? Tell us your story!
I find cooking very interesting. The different ingredients that come together for one dish, piqued curiosity in me and here I am, cooking full time. I enjoy working in a bulk kitchen as the energy flowing around is amazing and the quantity of food being managed is enthralling.
Which celebrity chefs do you admire the most?
I have worked with chef Nilay Limay in the past and admire his work.
What do you do in your free time?
I go through cookery books and device new recipes in my free time.
Have you tried food from Holachef? How was your experience?
Yes and it was excellent.
Which dishes do you love to cook and why?
I love cooking everything that involves the dum pukht technique. The slow-cooking method brings out a distinct flavour altogether.
A cooking tip that you always follow.
Time and patience work wonders while cooking. And maintaining a hygienic kitchen should always be a priority.
Someone famous you would like to cook for?
For me, all guests and customers are celebrities and I love cooking for them everyday.
Which quality should a person definitely possess in order to become a professional chef?
Maintaining the quality of food while also managing the costing at the same time.
